Families in Global Transition Conference in Washington, DC
The annual Families in Global Transition conference is coming up soon and I can only recommend this event. The 2011 event will take place from March 17 - 19 in Washington, DC.
Anne Copeland, one of the great researchers in the field of expatriate adjustment and cross-cultural interaction, is the Program Director and has put together an interesting schedule. My dear colleagues Andrew Miser and Doris Fuellgrabe will be presenting and I can highly recommend their session. Andy will present his community project in Brookline and Doris will talk about how to chose the right expat support services for every budget.
Other familiar names at the conference will be Heather Markel, the inspiring brain behind the Expat Coach Association (www.theexpatcoachassociation.com) and Jo Parfitt, well-known writer and editor.
